Access by public transport
The fastest way to London is using the Heathrow Express that leaves every 15 minutes to London’s Paddington station. The journey takes around 20 minutes and the trains operate from 5am to 11.55pm. Heathrow Connect is another train service but unlike Heathrow Express, it’s a stopping service, calling at about 5 stations. This service takes about 27 minutes and leaves every 30 minutes.
There’s also a tube system that can connect the airport to Central London using the Underground Piccadilly Line. This journey will cost way less than the rail but take much longer, around 50 min.
Numerous buses are available at the central bus station and from all terminals heading directly to Central London. There’s the N9 night buses available when trains don’t operate and the National Express and Oxford Bus Company that serve the different UK parts.
There are also reputable transfer services that operate within Heathrow airport. Their advantage is that they provide flexibility and you will govern the journey.
