It is one of the most famous markets that began seven years ago and continues right from 20th November to 3rd January. This grand fiesta takes place near Hyde Park Corner in Hyde Park.
Explore the Magical Ice kingdom, skate on the ice rink, take a ride on the giant wheel, watch the circus, enjoy delicious mince pies and say a prayer at the Grotto. Started just a year back, the Christmas market at Winterville in Victoria Park has already taken London by storm. It lasts from 26th November to 23rd December and has plenty to keep you entertained. You can watch movies like The Muppet Christmas, Elf etc at the Backyard Cinema’s Winter Garden.
You can also head over to Spiegel tent to enjoy a Snow White pantomime or an Indeedy Musical Bingo. There is also a Kid’s quarter to keep you children entertained as well as a children’s market and a State Circus. Christmas Market At Tate Modern
For a different kind of Christmas experience, you should pay a visit to the German-style Christmas market outside Tate Modern. Take a Christmas taxi to this market, where you can enjoy the beautiful backdrop of St Paul and the city.
You can do here your last minute shopping here with ease as there are around 70 wooden chalet-style stalls where you can buy unique jewelry, handmade toys and much more. Southbank Centre Christmas Market
The Southbank Centre Christmas Market is one of the most popular Christmas markets in London and is held from 20th November to 24th December 2015. You will be able to purchase anything from handcrafted trinkets to candles, clothes ceramics, jewelry and Christmas tree decorations
If your stomach starts rumbling in the market, there are plenty of stalls selling roasts, chocolates, sweets and sausages to keep your hunger pangs at bay. You can also take a break from the market to take a stroll along the beautiful riverfront between Waterloo Bridge and the London Eye.
